Account & Profile

Do I need an account to use List2Play?
No, you can browse servers, vote, and view statistics without an account. However, creating a free account unlocks additional features: submit and manage servers, track favorites, view purchase history, earn daily login bonuses, and access your wallet. Registration is quick and requires email verification.
How do I verify my email address?
After registering, check your email inbox for a verification link. Click the link to verify your email address. If you didn't receive the email, check your spam folder or request a new verification email from the login page. Email verification is required to submit servers and access account features.
How do I reset my password?
Click "Sign in" and then "Forgot password?" on the login page. Enter your email address and you'll receive a password reset link. Click the link in the email to set a new password. The reset link expires after a few hours for security reasons. If you don't receive the email, check your spam folder.

Is List2Play free to use?
Yes! List2Play is completely free for browsing servers, voting, and viewing statistics. Server submission is also free. VIP status is an optional premium feature that provides enhanced visibility for server owners. Creating an account is free and gives you access to additional features like favorites and wallet bonuses.
How do I contact support?
You can contact our support team by emailing [email protected] or using the contact form on our website. We typically respond within 24-48 hours. For urgent issues related to payments or account access, please include your account email and relevant order numbers in your message.
How do I report an inappropriate server?
If you encounter a server that violates our community guidelines or contains inappropriate content, use the "Report server" button on the server's detail page. Select a reason for the report and provide any additional details. Our moderation team reviews all reports and takes appropriate action.
What payment methods are accepted?
We accept payments via Stripe (credit/debit cards) and PayPal for VIP purchases and wallet top-ups. All payments are processed securely through these trusted payment gateways. We also support using credits from your wallet for instant VIP purchases without external payment.

Server Submission

How do I add my server to List2Play?
To add your server, click the "Add server" button in the navigation menu. Fill in your server details including IP address, port, game type, and description. Once submitted, your server will be automatically queried and added to our directory. Make sure your server is online and accessible for the best results.
How long does it take for my server to appear?
Your server is typically added within a few minutes after submission. Our system automatically queries servers every 5 minutes to update player counts, status, and other statistics. If your server doesn't appear after 15 minutes, please check that it's online and accessible from the internet.
Can I edit my server information after submission?
Yes! If you're logged in and the server is linked to your account, you can edit server details from your account dashboard. Navigate to "My Servers" in your account menu to manage your listings. For servers not linked to an account, please contact our support team.
Why is my server showing as offline?
Servers are marked offline if they fail to respond to our queries multiple times. Common reasons include: the server is actually offline, firewall blocking our query IPs, incorrect IP/port configuration, or the server is behind a NAT/router without proper port forwarding. Check your server status and network configuration.

Technical

How often are server statistics updated?
Server statistics are updated automatically every 5 minutes. This includes player counts, server status (online/offline), current map, and other real-time data. Historical statistics are stored and displayed in charts on each server's detail page, allowing you to track player trends over time.

Why isn't my server's player count accurate?
Player counts are queried directly from your game server. If the count seems inaccurate, it could be due to: server-side bots being counted, query protocol limitations, or server configuration issues. Our system queries servers every 5 minutes, so there may be a slight delay. Contact support if you notice persistent inaccuracies.

VIP & Wallet

What is VIP status and what are the benefits?
VIP status gives your server premium placement at the top of search results, a distinctive VIP badge, enhanced visibility, and priority in listings. VIP servers are highlighted with a golden badge and appear first when users browse servers. This helps increase your server's visibility and player traffic.
How do I purchase VIP status for my server?
Navigate to your server's detail page and click the "Purchase VIP" button. Choose a VIP plan (duration), select your payment method (Stripe, PayPal, or Credits), and complete the checkout. VIP status is activated immediately after successful payment. You can also use credits from your wallet for instant VIP purchases.
What are credits and how do I get them?
Credits are our platform currency that you can use to purchase VIP status instantly. You can top up your wallet via Stripe or PayPal, or earn credits through daily login bonuses and server submission bonuses. Credits are non-refundable and tied to your account. Check your wallet dashboard to see your balance and transaction history.
How do I top up my wallet?
Go to your account dashboard and click "Wallet" in the menu. Click the "Top up credits" button, select an amount, choose your payment method (Stripe or PayPal), and complete the payment. Your credits will be added to your wallet immediately after successful payment. You'll receive an email confirmation for each top-up.
Can I get a refund for VIP purchases?
VIP purchases are generally non-refundable. However, if you experience technical issues or have concerns about your purchase, please contact our support team at [email protected] with your order details. We review refund requests on a case-by-case basis. Credits purchased for your wallet are also non-refundable.
How long does VIP status last?
VIP status duration depends on the plan you purchase. We offer various plans ranging from 7 days to 365 days. When you purchase VIP, the duration is added to your current VIP expiration date (if you already have VIP) or starts immediately. You can extend your VIP status anytime before it expires.

Voting

How does the voting system work?
Users can vote for their favorite servers once every 24 hours. Votes help servers rank higher in search results and show community support. Each vote is tracked and displayed on the server's detail page. Server owners can embed vote widgets on their websites to encourage players to vote. For minecraft servers we also support Votifier integration.
How often can I vote for a server?
You can vote for each server once every 24 hours. This cooldown period ensures fair voting and prevents abuse. The voting system tracks both logged-in users and IP addresses to maintain vote integrity. You'll see a message if you try to vote before the cooldown period ends.
Can I embed a vote widget on my website?
Yes! Go to your server's detail page and scroll to the "Vote Widget" section. You can choose between an interactive iframe widget or a static badge image. Copy the embed code and paste it into your website.
