Learn how to prepare artwork, descriptions, and DNS settings so your server submission is approved quickly.
Goal: Submit a polished, accurate server listing that passes moderation on the first attempt.
Preparation checklist
- Hostname: Ensure the address resolves (e.g.,
cs.hl2go.com:27015). DNS-based entries keep your branding consistent. - Banner assets: Prepare a 468×60 banner (JPEG, PNG, or WebP up to 1MB). Optional square/Discord banners enhance embeds.
- Description: Summarise core features, rules, supported languages, and community highlights.
- Tags: Choose relevant filters (PvP, Survival, Vanilla, Modded, etc.) so players can find you faster.
Submission steps
- Open Servers → Add server and complete the form.
- Upload banners and include optional social links (Discord invitation, website, vote reward page).
- Review the preview carefully; fix typos and confirm the banner renders correctly.
- Submit the listing. Cloudflare Turnstile protects the form, so complete the challenge if prompted.
Tip: Keep a changelog of major updates (new map rotation, plugin rollout) to refresh your description frequently.
After moderation
- Manage the listing in Account → My servers. Substantial edits may trigger a brief re-review.
- Use duplicates for seasonal events to promote alternate game modes without overwriting the main entry.
- When you're ready for extra visibility, launch a VIP campaign directly from the detail page.
