Server Reporting & Moderation on List2Play
Purpose: Keep the directory trustworthy by flagging suspicious listings quickly and transparently.
Submitting a report
- Use the Report server button on any listing.
- Select a preset reason (fake players, downtime, abusive content, etc.) and add supporting notes.
Moderation workflow
- Admins receive an instant alert and email notification.
- Each report contains server metadata, reporter notes, and timestamps.
- Moderators investigate logs, verify player counts, review screenshots, and decide whether to warn, suspend, or remove the listing.
For server owners
- You’ll receive guidance outlining the issue and corrective actions.
- Resolve the problem (adjust tags, restore uptime, update copy) and request reactivation if applicable.
Preventing abuse
We monitor reporter history. Repeated false reports or harassment may lead to disciplinary action, including account suspension.
